I'm worried, I had my first transvaginal ultrasound last week and they told me I was only 6 weeks and couldn't see the fetus or get a heartbeat yet. We'll the appointment was 8 weeks and 1 day after my last lmp and I have a pretty consistent schedule to my menstrual cycle. I also had felt some breast tenderness, etc. About 5 weeks before this ultrasound and so I assumed I was just getting my period. When I didn't get it after 2 weeks (3 weeks before I went for the tvu) I took a pregnancy test and it came up positive. My question is, how likely is it I could be 6 weeks at this point? My doctor thinks I may have been off on my dates but I know i'm not, and it seems to me like there's no way I could be at only 6 weeks. Could the baby have stopped developing at 6 weeks, and lead the doctor to believe I was only 6 weeks? He wants me to go in for another tvu but it's still another week and i'm real worried,
