I like the name, lilly...It is the name of 2 towns; one in ga, the other in pa. Lily, on the other hand, comes from middle english. "lilie", from old english, an rom latin "llium"...These are all names for ny of various plants of the genus lilium, having variously colored, often trumpet-shaped flowers.
I think it is nice to have some history behind a name b/c it gives meaning.
Also, you might want to save naming the child until you see it...You might even think of another name off the cuff! :idea:
