Q: Any Ideas Why?

I posted not long ago about having pain in my lower right abdomen. Still waiting on an ultrasound for that (aug. 1st).

My period started last monday (the 16th) right on time - i'm on bc pills - lasted the regular 5 days, was relatively light in the sense that it ended a little earlier but nothing dramatic.

Now yesterday (jul 26th), I started spotting a bit. Nothing big, sometime nothing, but it's still there and I had a little stain my underwear.

Any idea what this spotting could be? I feel fine otherwise. The pain on my right side is actually better than it was the weeks before my period. My lower back is a little sore this morning but I think that's just my normal lower back weakness (rode my horse (actual horse, not boyfriend) yesterday and felt my back pinch at one point).

Any thoughts?
