Q: Spotting At 6 Weeks

Hi, I am new to this forum and could really use some advice. I've been on bcp for 15 years and 3 days ago I learned (through bloodwork test) that I was pregnant. I was approximately 5 weeks pregnant when I found out and stopped taking my pills immediately. Within a day of stopping the pills, I began to have what feel like menstrual cramps, then light brown spotting for 1 day, and today now having heavier dark brown bleeding. It does not appear to be bright red or clotty - though is much darker than yesterday. I am worried - is this a miscarriage or could this bleeding be related to cessation of the pill???

The same has happened to me except I was not onthe pill. All of my symptoms have disappeared. No clots or anything have come out. I just wonder if everything is ok or is this the onset of a mc.
