Hi. I was wondering if you can have an allergy to insect bites, cause each time I get bitten it always swells up, goes all red and itchy! Ive been to the doctor about it before when I got bitten on my hands and feet and he gave me this cream called hydrocortisone. So anyway I started using this cream on my newest bite, which is on my toe. And its not making it any better, if not its making it worse. Its not itchy like they usually are.Just red. And hurts.

Does anyone know why its not working?
Is it maybe because its a bite from a different insect?
Can you be allergic to insect bites?

Thanks for any replies :)

Not all people can have allergies on insect bites..But, there are some that are allergic to it...

That is because other people's body reaction to insect sting is abnormally high sensitive to insect venom.
