My daughter is 2 1/2 with very pale skin and black hair on her upper back, spread out across the shoulder blade area, and narrowing to a vee halfway down her back. The hair is more pronounced and takes up more area as time goes by. (i started seeing the hair around 7 months ago.)

Could there be a medical problem that I should pursue? Also, I imagine we'll eventually need to wax it or something -- we are swimmers and the hair is noticeable.
