Is This Really Possible?
Posted: 07-24-06 22:37pm

Ok so there's this girl I went to school with. I came across her myspace by chance and in her blog she states she just found out shes pregnant. Here's the catch, she's 7 months along and claims she just found out. She had no symptoms and isnt big enough for her to think that she was pregnant. She said it never crossed her mind becuase she always had a wacky period so just assumed it was gone and skipping a few months. She says the only reason she figured it out was becuase she thought she looked a bit fatter than usual and is feeling "kicks". My question is could this be or is she full of sh*t? Shes also almost 21 if that helps.

My husbands cousin lissa was 5 months pregnant before she found out, and it is her second child. She always had messed up periods, so she didn't think anything of it, so it's possible. The only way her and her husband adam realized it was because adam felt a kick.

Well i'm about 8 months along...And when I was even 6 months pregnant, I felt the baby kick. Like super strongly. I'd believe maybe 5ish months, but not 7. She must of been in denial.

When I Was 16

I have to say yes indeed it is because when I was 16 I was pregnant and had a period the whole 9 months and also I stayed tiny and never new I was pregnant until the birth happened and that was in 1980.
I felt kicks but thought it was spasams or something because I never got sick and just thought I was fine because I had a period.
I learned a lot from that and the birth was a giant freak out when it happened because I had know idea and wow a baby was born
the best way for this girl to find out is go to the doctor and take the pregancy test.

I guess it just depends on how well you know your body. If you're pretty in-tune with the way your body normally functions, you'll know when something is different. I guess that if your body is throwing weird signals around (unregulated periods, etc) it makes it harder to know when something has happened.

A friend of mine got pregnant about two months before I did, and she didn't find out until she was around 9 weeks along. On the other hand, I "knew" I was pregnant within a few days of conception, and had two false negatives before I got my positive test. My body felt 100% different to me and I recognized it immediately. And around the fifth month, there was no mistaking the feeling of a small stranger moving around inside. So I guess it just varies for each woman.

I know someone who didnt know until the baby came out that she was pregnant. She didnt gain a great deal..Had a tiny little pooch tummy and never really had symptoms. She used to feel the kicks but thought nothing of them. It does all depend on how you are made internally to show more or less. I have a difficult time understanding how you do not know but it has happened!
