I've had problems with my stomach for
almost 4 years now. It all started after
catching a horrible diarrhoea that lasted
for about 3 days when I was abroad (i live
in sweden). After that i've had all
kinds of different problems with my
stomach and had the triple therapy
(antibiotics combination) for helicobacter
twice and it hasn't become better. I got
perfectly well during the time I was
taking the drugs (7 days treatment, nexium
hp it's called in sweden) but the eight
day the symptoms were pretty much back in
an instant. However this triple therapy
is the only thing that has really made a
big difference (i've taken a lot of
different medication during these 4
years). I've felt perfectly healthy
during the therapy period, and as I said
the 8 day the problems were back.
I also got lactose intolerant after
this(!!?). The doctor keeps telling me
the helicobacter value is too low to be
causing the problems but since they can't
find anything else wrong with me i'm
guessing hp is still the issue. I wonder
if a stronger and longer treatment could
solve it? My main symptoms are that i'm
constantly bloated to the maximum and my
toilet visits aren't anything like before.
They have a sticky texture and are not
at all solid. I also have a bad acne on
my chest and back, i'm 23 years old.
I've read that the following things might
help: astaxanthin (said to be the
strongest natural antioxidant there is),
dgl tablets (i have no idea what this
might be in sweden), and mastic gum. If
anyone knows something I should do or try,
please share your experience.

Have you tried asking the dr or pharmacist
about it or doing some research over the
internet, I learn a lot just by talking to
pharmacists as they alot of the times take
the times talkes to you and will explain
things to you so you will understand
easier.
All the best!
