Q: What Can Cause a High Bilirubin Level?

I went to the hospital after being taken by ambulance and amongst other things my bilirubin count was 2.4.

I've been taking l-lysine and b complex 100.. Could either of these increase the level?

Elevated Bilirubin levels, normal enzime levels (( HELP ))
Please Help or let me know if anyone else has had results similar to mine... I am scared and looking for some information.

I went to the dermatologist for prescreenng of enbrel for psyrosis and my Bilirubin levels were elevated.. Here are my last three blood tests


The blood test was taken 8/11/08
Total Bilirubin level: 1.9 normal range is 0.2 - 1.2
Direct Bilirubin level: .3 normal range is under .2
Indirect Bilirubin level: 1.6 normal range is .2 - 1.2

I have prior blood tests from 3/17/08
Total Bilirubin level: 1.27, this test had diff normal ranges of .2 - 1.5
Direct Bilirubin Level: .21," " 0 - .3
Indirect Bilirubin Level 1.06

One other blood test from 06/21/03
Total Bilirubin level: 1.1
Direct Bilirubin level: .2
Indirect Bilirubin level: .9
