Hair Growth With Minoxidil?
Posted: 07-22-06 22:44pm

Topical minoxidil stimulates hair growth right? I have a few questions regarding this drug. First, does minoxidil induces growth of terminal hair? (instead of fine, poorly pigmented hairs like lanugos in babies). Second, does application of minoxidil on other body parts with hair follicles (apart from the scalp) effects hair growth as well? And third, what are the complications associated with this drug, both topically and systemically? Thanks for your help.

This is probably the wrong forum for this, but minox will grow the terminal hairs on the hairline and everywhere else. Some people are now putting it in their beards to make them grow, but i dunno if it is safe. The one side effect of minox I know of is collagen deformation which means your face will age quicker.
