My daughter's best friend who is 15 years old had a colonoscopy yesterday. The doctor took out a ulcer which is being sent off to test for cancer? How likely is it htat she could have colon cancer at age 15 and what is the treatment and statistics?

I Had Colon Cancer At 19.
This past october I had surgery to remove cancer that had originated in my colon. The tumor had spread so far the doctors had to take my uterus, ovaries, part of my bladder, and part of my colon. No one ever thought this would happen to someone so young, but it can and I am proof. I am glad your daughter's friend had a coloscopy. And I hope everything works out for the best.
