Deodorant / Anti-perspirant - Which Ones Are Safe? Posted: 07-20-06 11:27am
My sister and I are concerned about breast
cancer. We have been researching to find
out which elements are unsafe (used in
deodorants). I have read that aluminum
chlorohydrate is bad as well as parabens.
Is there any deodorant you would
recommend?
Thanks so much. :)

I've heard anti-perspirants are the ones
which not only mask the odor, but decrease
the sweating (hence the name) using
elements such as aluminum chlorohydrate
etc. Deodorants or body sprays however
just mask the odor and don't prevent
sweating. If you're worried, stick with
a deodorant instead of an anti-perspirant.
A brand of deodorant for females is
adidas absorbant deodorant which also
states that it is 100% aluminum free. One
brand of body spray that I use and it's
great is the aerosol secret body spray.
