Swollen Vein
Posted: 07-20-06 06:31am

I've posted about this before but I was dissapointed in the amount help I got last time so i'd thought i'd try again.

I have a line starting at the top of my penis going down to the left testicle, i've checked for lumps in both sides of the testicles and luckly there are none and they are just red. When I am erect the penis doesnt stay upright it tilts. Can someone please please tell me what the proplem is and what can be done to cure it.

My doctor has said that everything seems fine but why isnt it dissapearing?

You may be suffering from little more than anxiety about your erection. When you say your penis tilts do you mean that the penis is unable to sustain an erection? If, so, you may wish to visit your gp again, as many factors can affect erection.

If your penis is tilting at an angle whilst fully erect, you may be suffering from peyronie's disease although this seems unlikely from your description.

The issue with your vein is probably not a cause for concern as the genital area is blood-rich and veins are more prominent in some individuals than in others.

My doctor has had a look for lumps in the testicles and he has also found none. At the moment my penis looks all bruised up in the centre of it where the line starts. I have also been told by my doctor that it could be a swollen vein and he has advised me not to agitate it for a while.

I can get my penis to fully erect but it just tilts rather than being up right. I have no problem ejaculating either as I said my penis is just swollen

I think I would make another appointment to see your gp. Not because I think there's anything sisnister but you're obviously concerned. Have you been 'over-straining' yourself recently?

I usually have a 'moment' with myself once or maybe twice in a day but not every day. When I first noticed this, it was when I was in bed one night (by myself and no where near this area) and it felt like my testicles were being tugged on by something when I wake up the day after my testicles were red like sun burn but the red keeps going and coming.

My doctor has said on both times I have visited him about this that there is nothing to worry about and I shouldnt do too much to excite it and since the last visit I have not been 'down there' a lot and its still not going

Varicocele Query.....
Posted: 07-28-06 02:54am

Hi .....I have a query regarding varicoceles......I'm 19 yrs old...I had varicocele surgery on my left testicle last year.....At the time of surgery, based on ultrasound tests the urologist told me that my left testicle was smaller than my right and the sperm count on exmaination was found to be 5 million with close to 0% motility.....Post surgery my sperm count rose to 45 million with 60% motility and the left testicle was seen to have grown to be as big asmy right(the doctor called this 'catchup groeth' I think)........My question is....Will my varicocele have any effect on my secondary sexual charachteristics....Like my beard development,etc....I'm not worried about my voice as it's already matured.....But my beard development is sumthin im very worried about.......Do varicocele patients show any pattern symptoms regarding beard growth...?
