I'm considering getting an iud because i'm tired of being on the pill for 3 years. It gives me acne, makes me gain weight, and turns me into a monster (pms). I'm only 19 years old but i've been in a monogamous relationship for 3 years. Is it a bad idea to get one at this age?

Speak it over with your doctor but I don't see why you shouldn't. I have had my ius for two years now (i'm 25) and it's very good. There are loads of options out there though if the pill isn't suitable.

I am 24 engaged and monogamous..

I have used an iud for over 3 years, I absolutely love it!

Some docs will not insert iuds on women who have not given birth, but "planned parenthood" seems to always be more open minded with giving iud's to women =)

if a regular doc will nt insert one, chances are that pp would!
