Q: Post Surgical Lymph Node Seepage

My father recently underwent surgery for prostate cancer. The cancer was removed and all was well, until 3 mos. Later he developed extreme pain in his abdominal cavity. He had to have a sack full of lymphatic fluid aspirated from his abdominal area. The doctors explanation for the fluid build up was that some lymph nodes had been inadvertantly sliced during the prostate surgery causing them to leak into the peritineam. He was told that the seepage would be absorbed by the body.

My father has been aspirated 5 times now with no signs of the fluid build up slowing down. Has anyone else had to go through this or is my father the only one with such luck.

Prostate cancer
I have had a prostate cancer removed surgically with the
various problems with the procedure. Is it possible to have
a donor gland inserted similar to a liver, kidney or liver
transplant to restore functionality? I would dearly love
to return to my former self, if this is indeed possible.
I seek your reply.
