Implantion bleeding??? Just wanting to
get a few facts straight.....I know it's
not heavy bleeding, it's just spotting.
My question is what color is it and could
it be in your discharge?

If it does indeed exist !! They claim it
can be in discharge and is usually
brownish, light pink.

Okay then tell me what you think of this,
yesterday I went to the bathroom and
(sorry if tmi) wiped myself and I had a
bunch of discharge with what seemed brown
blood and that was it nothing else since
then. I don't know when my period is due,
body is wacked. So what do you think? I
know you can't know forsure but I was just
wondering. Also if it was indeed
implation bleeding when would a hpt show
positive or what not?

Sounds like it can also be due to
ovulation ......Have you had sex at all
the last few days

wait until your period is due to test for
pregnancy. I know you said you aren't
sure when your period is due (maybe this
is your period starting?), but you have a
rough, general idea. For instance, I
don't know the exact date of my periods,
but I know I have them, say, the first
week of the month. Or I can pinpoint it
almost directly by remembering what I was
doing when I started - we went to a movie
that night, or I went to a job, etc.
Implantation bleeding can happen at the
time the fertilized egg implants in the
uterus, on average between 6 to 12 days
past ovulation. It is is vaginal
discharge which usually contains a small
amount of pinkish or brownish blood. Only
about 1 in 3 pregnant women experience
implantation bleeding.
You can make the choice whenever to take a
pregnancy test, but it probably won't be
positive until your period is either due
or you've missed it.

Okay well maybe it is the start of my
period, i'm not forsure. I have sex on a
regular basis. I'm on birthcontrol but I
take it whenever I can remember too. My
last real period was may 20th and I
started my birthcontrol on july 2nd. I
took a hpt this morning and it was
negitive but ya'll said more than likely
it would be. So maybe I should wait about
two weeks before I test again and if I
don't start my period by then????

I think by you doing whatever you feel
like with bcp is causing you to be
irregular. Bcp's taken irractically cause
your hormones to be whacky and delay your
period and mess up your cycle greatly.
You need to take them everyday properly if
you want to have your cycle regulated.
Take a test within a week or so. And if
you want to be pregnant stop the pill.

well you never said about the birth
control before. That changes things.
This could be breakthrough bleeding. This
could be hormonal imbalance from not
taking the pill correctly.
How many pills do you have left until your
sugar pill week? Don't test until your
sugar pills, because it would just be
negative - considering you would know
exactly when your period should start.
Your body runs like clockwork on the
pill.
There are other forms of birth control
that don't rely on you remembering to take
them - like the pill does. There are
patches, iud and the new implant.

Well I guess what I meant by taking the
pill whenever was that I take it on a
daily basis about the same time maybe an
hour before or after. I have three more
pills before my sugar pills. Well i'm not
bleeding it was just that lil bit of
discharge yesterday and that has been it.
I am just taking my pills to make my mom
happy. I'm usually really good at
remembering to take them just sometimes I
get a lil side tracked.

Then your period should come approximately
after 3 days worth of sugar pills - give
or take a day or so.
Bleeding while taking birth control is not
a sign of pregnancy. It is a sign of
breakthru bleeding and is completely
normal.

I know that it isn't a sign of pregnancy,
I know I have a two year old son. I was
just wondering b/c I had that lil bit of
brown coloring discharge yesterday morning
and that was it, no bleeding or nothing so
far, it was just a question, and I know it
has nothing to do with pregnancy.

answering your question. And your
question was about bleeding and whether or
not it was implantation bleeding. I told
you what it most probably was and there
