Is swelling in the feet and hands something to worry about? I don't have high blood pressure or anything because that's been perfect throughout my pregnancy. Should I be worried or am I overreacting?

Swelling in late pregnancy is normal. There is nothing to worry about unless you have high blood pressure. I felt the same way at the end of my pregnancy...No ankles!

They are called 'c'ankles. Where your calves are supposed to give way to a graceful bend in your ankle, but they don't due to swelling. Thus they are cankles.

150% normal. Doctor will tell you the same thing, drink a lot of water, put your feet up and don't eat salty food.

If you push on the swollen areas with a finger and it leaves a dent, ring your doctor as it a sign of pre- eclasp (i have no idea how to spell it - I hope you know what I mean) other than than yeah its normal and it does go away after you give birth - mind you in saying that I had huge!! Feet and ankles for weeks afterwards as I spent most of my 12hr labour walking around :-)

Thanks, yeah I know what your talking about. But the midwife doesnt seem concerned as the swelling is only in my feet and my blood pressure is perfect. Fingers crossed it will go down
