Q: Seizure-like Pain

Would anyone have any sort of idea as to what this situation would mean:
i had a terrible problem the other night where I had been working out and breathing rather heavily. All of a sudden my entire body froze up. My whole self had that lightheaded feeling where you just feel numb and like you have all sorts of pin sensations throughout your skin. My hands and feet locked up so much that I could not open my hand and move my fingers myself. It was as if my muscles had frozen up in the position they were in and an imaginary person had a grip over my clenched fist. A friend of mine had to try and pry my fingers open to just to get them to open up and move around. Any ideas as to what this would be?

Hyperventilation
Hiya,
when you breathe heavily sometimes like over hyperventilate it can make yuor hands look like they are clenched and also your feet. Can give you pins and needles. I am an epileptic and what you told me sounds like a post ictal state. The point before a seizure. Id say you should bet it checked out. You say you were working out. I would see a doctor buddy.
