Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Answer A1230
It is possible to confirm a pregnancy via pelvic exam only in the case of a late pregnancy (older than 5 months). Early pregnancies are detected via a positive pregnancy test and an ultrasound confirmation of the fetus and heartbeat.
