Q: Morning After Pill...is It 100% Accurate?

Is the morning after pill 100% accurate because my friend had unprotected sex a couple of weeks ago and took it two days later after gentle presusion as she doesn't want to fall pregnant. I wouldn't know because I didn't have that problem as I used protection and it was too late when I found out I was pregnant.

No, nothing is 100% effective. Emergency contraception (the pill) is 95ïfective if taken within 24hours, 85% up to 48hours and around 58ïfective if taken between 48-72hours.

No, I know someone who got pregnant after taking the morning after pill. It all depends on your body I guess.

Ok I guess I have to tell her to wait and see if her next period comes. Fingers crossed that she isnt because she says she's going to have an abortion if she is. Thanks for your help guys!
