I had a vaginal polyp removed after a routine pap smear. The doctor told me I may bleed for a couple of days which I did very lightly and then it stopped. Now on the fifth day after the polyp removal I had a lot of blood all of a sudden yesterday. I called the doctor and she said it may have been a clot that loosened up and came out. I am still bleeding a little today. Is this normal? Should I be worried? I am due to get my period in a week, maybe I am just early with my period or screwed up since the polyp was removed.
