Doctor's Appointment And Internal U/s Posted: 07-17-06 16:00pm
Went to see the doctor today after him
ordering blood tests at the hospital
yesterday because of the brown discharge I
was experiencing. Hurt a whole lot when
he was doing the internal. He sent me to
the hospital again for an internal u/s and
said "maybe you can see the heartbeat and
that'll reassure you".
Went to do the u/s, the technician asked
what the doctor had said and when I told
her, she just kind of mumbled. She said
she found the gestational sac but when I
asked a few minutes later, "does that mean
there's no fetus?" she said "i didn't say
that." and said nothing else about it.
She kept asking if I was .Certain when my
lmp was, I said yes, but it could've been
earlier since that flow was very light for
me. She just mumbled again. I asked
"why? Is the fetus larger or smaller?"
and she responded "you'll have to wait for
the doctor to tell you. I'm just doing my
job."
so, i'm freaking out, waiting for the
doctor to call and not at .All
reassured.

Just a gestational sac sounds like you
aren't as far along as you suspected. You
should call your doctor.
