I went to the dr at beginning of july and said that I had a vaginal infection and that it was very bad..I called them to tell them that the medication they gave me wasnt working and what else can they do. They said that there was nothing else they could give me. I'm not trying to be nasty or anything but when I look at my cooch it looks like something inside is eating it like coming from the inside out. I'm only looking because it itches so bad..I need some kind of advise please. Husband is worried about it and so am i. Im 32 weeks preg. I heard something bout trying yogurt and putting it up inside you but didnt know if could do while preg.

I would definately call your doctor back in both your cases. To the OP: they should have at least told you what kind of infection you had. Call them back and demand they either see you again or prescripe something different. I know being pregnant you are limited on what you can take but its their responsibiloty to cure the infection.

to the 2nd poster: They said you had herpes? Did they do blood work to confirm or did they just tell you. Herpes outbreak can be very itchy but they are also extremely painful. What med did you get? The treatments for herpes do not take away the itch or pain. It really just helps them heal faster on their own. Im sorry to say that the itching and pain is just something you have to go through. Also did they tell you to continue the meds for herpes? Herpes can be threatening to your baby if its exposed.
