Q: 40 Minutes Late!

Hello I just started taking birth control two week ago seasonale well today which was sunday I forgot to take my birth control and I always take it 10:30 at night we tonight I was 40 minutes late is it going to affect it in any way I took it at 11:10 when I usually take it 10:30 please help
could I get pregnant if I had sex now because I took it late or could it affect it any way pleaselet me know all you know

You will be fine. Usually there is a window of about 12 hours (give or take) as to when you can miss taking your pill. As long as you aren't constantly missing it you will be fine. 40 minutes is nothing to worry about.

I'm sometimes several hours apart, and i'm fine. Been taking bc for over a year now :)
