Ok ive posted in the miscarriage part and teen pregnancy but no response.
I dont expect a proffesional doctor answer from anyone but I would like advice and if someone else has experienced this it would be great if you could respond.

Right me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex using the pull out method for 4 months, yes I am aware that pre-ejaculation can still get you pregnant. But I am ready.

My periods can sometimes be a bit irregular. This month my period was a week late and I was gettin slight pregnancy signs and symptoms and I just felt as though I was pregnant. It was an odd feeling. All through that week that I was late I have cramps in my lower back, and stomach. Then 3 days ago, I had a spot of brown blood, and pink discharge I got so excited. Cause I was almost definit I was pregnant. Then yesterday I started bleeding a bit more brown blood. But then towards the afternoon it got more red and I had a little lump of either tissue or clot.

Today the bleeding slowed down and went very faint for a while but then went back a bit heavy :s I really dont know whats going on. I have pain in my lower abdomen also, but I may have ovary cysts as its a genetic thing in my family... My mother, my nan, my great nan have all had them, and myself.

Have I miscarryed?

Also theres quite long dark red purpley stringy bits..
My boyfriend says its what a placenta looks like.

Has anyone ever had clots with a fine pregnancy?

Any advice would be great thanks :)

From what I know, if you want to truly know if you are or were pregnant, a hpt would be fairly accurate a week late (even after a miscarriage it would show positive if you were in fact pregnant). Stress over being late, or anxiety could cause a late period. I can assure you there was no placenta because that wouldn't have formed anywhere near this early. My opinion would be to take a test and see what you're dealing with. Bleeding doesn't necessarily mean a miscarriage has happened, but if you find out your hpt is positive, you need to schedule a doc. Appointment immediately. If it's negative, you're probably just having a heavy period (stress, being late, all factors that can make your flow change). Keep us posted and good luck.

Awww- don't wait. Take a hpt because I really think you might find out that you never were pregnant. You're putting yourself through a lot and you need to get answers sooner than later. I will say that I am 28 years old and when we started trying, I noticed things I never noticed before (and I have always been in tune with my body). This may just be your menstrual cycle, of course in response to the stress you're most certainly under. Of course, if it turns out you were in fact pregnant, knowing is better because it gives doctors more information so you can get help and have a successful pregnancy in the future. Good luck and pease keep me posted.
