I'm a little scared - this has been going on since christmas. At first I had an unexplained "spot" on my leg. Looked like a bruise - paid no attention - then it peeled! Still didn't give it much thought. Then every night my ankles and calves would swell to the point of stretching my skin taut. I went to a doctor - ended up seeing the pa (instead of my insurance-assigned doctor) and the pa suggested I go to a dermatologist! Good grief! I didn't go back to him - that was so stupid of him that it's scary! I have pretty high bp (usually 150 or 60 over 100 or thereabouts) get weekly migraines, have palpitations at least once a week either for no apparent reason or if I try anything physical longer than 10 or 15 minutes - by then i'm close to fainting. I read somewhere that the awful swelling in my legs is heart-related. What I want to know is - am I fixin' to die? Am I going to lose the ability to walk? What kind of doctor/specialist should I see? What's wrong with me? And how come no one knows! Is it that odd? Help me someone please. I need to know if I need to start living like I may be dead tomorrow!
