Ok, the run down:

i am officially 6 weeks late...Making it 11 weeks since I last had a period (i am normally every five weeks for my period). I took a test when I was two weeks late and it was negative...I just now took another one and again negative. I dont have any symptoms of being pregnant: no sickness, not going to the bathroom a lot, boobs arent changing or are sore, nothing. I have been having pain on my right side which I thought may have been the pain I always get mid cycle...But it lasted more than usually and still no af.

So I have two questions:
1. Has anyone out there been negative on a preg test to find out in the blood test that they were pregnant?
2. Has anyone been really late and not been pregnant...Any ideas on what could be up.

I am going to the docs to get a blood test on monday just to make sure...But any coments would be helpful.

Thanks!

It is certainly possible to have a negative hpt and a positive blood test. It's not real common at 6 weeks late but it does happen. It could also just be a late period or a missed period due to many, many things. Don't worry, your doctor will be able to test you for different things that could cause it. If you had unprotected sex at all, at any time, but especially during ovulation you should consider a pregnancy a possibility. Good luck!
