In r clinical trials they have found that the primary action of plan b is to stop ovulation. Just like our bodies naturally raise progestin levels after we ovulate, these two pills do the same.. It tricks your body into thinking it ovulated.
But the study also shows the 'possibility' of preventing implantation, but this is not considered a primary action like many people may think. It also conisdered rarer for the plan b to act on implantation, but because it 'could' do this, it must be mentioned.
I have an iud, it prevents implantation...That is one of the primary actions, which I am okay with because I am pro choice.
