Q: I've Missed My Period... But...

I have been on birth control pills for this entire month. However, I am not entirely sure if I am pregnant or not..

I've had unprotected sex with my boyfriend an entire 10 days or more after retaining usage of the pill. But, on 4th of july, I had unprotected sex with him, but did not take my pill that night because I did not bring them with me... But I did double up the next night.

Apart from that, I had to take plan b, the morning after pill, a week or so prior to that incident because I did not wait 7-10 days after usage of the pill to have unprotected sex.

During that episode, I went to a planned parenthood clinic to obtain the pills because I was at risk for pregnancy. That same day, since I already had the pills, I had unprotected sex again, and took the pills that same exact night.

I missed my period and am currently on my green "sugar" pills. It has been 2 days and I still have not had my period. Plan b says it can delay a menstuation cycle for approximately 7 days, but are there possibilities that I am pregnant?

Have you ever thought of an iud? I mean that if you do not want to get pregnant and if you keep forgetting to take your b/c pill maybe the iud or the shot might be a better thing for you, you might want to talk to your dr and see what he or see has to say after you check 1st to see if you ar pregnant.
Good luck to you whatever you decide to do!

You are only on day 2 of sugar pills, most women will not bleed unitl 3-4 day on the placebos!

Your body needs a few days to register that "oh I am not taking anymore hormones, time to have a period =)

Wow.
Thanks a bunch!
It's because last time, I had my period almost exactly the time I took the first sugar pill.
So, that's why I was a bit worried.
But thanks again!

You did do very well in doubling up! That usually does the trick quite well!

Since this is technically your period week, you could take an early pregnancy test if you wanted some reassurance, it would be accurate =)
