Hello! I am new. Nice to meet you all...
(this is also in the pregnancy forum)

i have a couple of symptoms that I think are a little strange. I would really like to get some opinions to see if my symptoms may be normal.
I am 20 years old, in a very serious and committed relationship, and have not been practicing any type of birth control.

I have missed my period. (first day of last period was may 18). I have taken 4 hpt, all of which are neg, and the last one I took was yesterday.
I have been experiencing all of the pregnancy symptoms, nausea, breast tenderness, tiredness, etc, but I have also been experiencing cramping. In the middle of the night I can feel slight cramps, but they usually go away by morning. It is not that bad nor uncomfortable, but it is there. (for about 2 days now) I have also been experiencing pressure in my lower abdomen. It feels as if there is a balloon on my tummy getting bigger and bigger. I have never felt that before. It does not exactly hurt, but it is really uncomfortable to be in certain sitting positions. (this started happening today)... Another thing that has been going on is, when I use the restroom,( #1) a sharp shooting goes up my stomach and it seems like into my chest. It is not painful nor really uncomfortable, just a little weird. Again, never have experienced that before either.

I do know that I may possibly be pregnant, but until I see a doctor (its sat and the Dr. Office is closed all weekend and monday), i’m not sure. With these symptoms I do not feel any intense pain or anything, but I am wondering if what I am experiencing is okay, normal, weird, etc. Or if anyone has felt it too? Please give me some advice and insight. Thanks for listening .

So the test that you took yesterday was it positive or negative? If you do not have an accurate test that has not said for sure that you are pregnant but you are conviced or stressed that you are then sometimes our body can throw off symptoms that make you feel that you are even missed periods. Now for the other symptoms it is normal to feel some cramping with pregnancy because your internal body is going through so many different changes. Things are moving around to make room. For the baloon feeling in a way it is kind of like that specially if your a small framed person you will have wierd feeling in the abdomen area as you grow larger. Now it is very important to get in to get an accurate test done to get the positive so that you can prepare for the months a head but if the answere is negative then you need to find out if there is something else going on inside. I had similar symptoms except instead of a missed perid I had one that only lasted 3 days and was extremly light which was not normal for me. I went into the doctor to find out I had displasia growing on the cervix (they said this is canceres cells) they have to remove this before it grows into cancer and this can be a small amount or large amount and depending on the severity depended on what kind of treatment would be needed. I ended up pregnant before they had the results back of this diagnoses so they were very worried about what might happen through the pregnancy and they kept a real close eye on it through the nine months. Lucky for me it was such a small amount that when in labor it had miraculously disappeared and hasn't come back that was 8 years ago and the doctor is still very shocked that it just went away but still keeps a very close eye on it to make sure that it does not come back because it could cause alot of damage. Sorry for such a long response I hope all goes well for you. Good luck and I hope I have been of some help.
