About two months ago, I noticed a problem with my deltoid muscle. It occurred one night when I noticed a drastic amount of pain in my left shoulder. It was consistent with pain i've felt before with a strained muscle, so I thought nothing of it and just dealt with the pain. A couple days later, I noticed that there was a fleshy bump on my left deltoid, what I assumed to be a muscle. It has been two months, and it hasn't really subsided. I questioned my physiotherapist, and he said it was a muscle that has popped out to overcompensate, or something to that nature, i'm not to sure on the terminology. He gave me some exercises which didn't really help. I work out regularly, and that only seemed to strengthen the arm. Recently, however, i've stopped working out, and it seems to have decreased in size. On another note, I was recently diagnosed to have a crooked elbow, an injury that slightly pulled my pectoral or my shoulder cuff and pinched it, which hindered movement in that shoulder. Curiously, after ridding myself of the pinching, the deltoid muscle appeared. I do not know if the two are linked, but all I know is that I wish for it to disappear so I can begin working out again. The muscle only really pops out when I flex my bicep and delt, but not when I have my arm at a 90 degree angle tucked against my side, as I found out with my physiotherapist. I am looking into get resistance cables to help with my shoulder. Any other suggestions or solutions will be greatly appreciated.
