Im pretty young lets say under 16 & a total virgin. But I have missed 2 periods, I get all the symptoms of a period (cramps, white discharge) but no actual blood.
Does this mean I am pregnent or what??

Well if you're a virgin, it seems highly unlikely that you'd be pregnant. You're still a teenager and your cycles are still going to be a little weird - you're not the first teen girl to have messed up periods, and you surely will not be the last. Don't worry too much about it - around the time I was sixteen, I went four months without a period...For no reason. It can happen even when you get into adulthood. Trust me - this is completely normal.

Why would you think that you're pregnant? Are you feeling any symptoms of pregnancy (morning sickness, bloating, just an overall crappy feeling, etc.)?

Been there...currently
I am also a virgin, however probably far less virginal than you. I am almost 19 and recently came far too close to sex than I wanted to be with my boyfriend. He didn't penetrate as far as I know and my undergarments were still on, but I'm freaked about it. Since then I've gotten a stomach virus and now I have sinusitus. My period is due yesterday or today, but hasn't come yet. I'm trying to not let it stress me out because it can cause my period to be later and can even cause a sympathy pregnancy. Just for re-assurance however...is there anyway you can become pregnant when you are not ovulating?

OK. If you are a virgin - no sexual experiences - then you KNOW you are NOT pregnant. There are a lot of things that can cause you to miss a period or even two. There are sympathy/empathy pregnancies where your body thinks you're pregnant when you're really not but this is really rare. Stress will cause you to miss a period. If you've just recently started having your period to begin with then your body may need more time to adjust the regularity of your periods. There could be a health issue that's causing the problem. The best thing to do if you miss your period more than once is to see a doctor to find out what's going on. If you've come really close to having sex but not quite then be sure to tell this to the doctor as some stds can be spread by "almost" having sex or performing sex acts.

Missing one period shouldn't freak you out but it is cause for concern. If you have any symptoms of anything other than a missed period then you need to see a doctor. Symptoms can include needing to pee a lot, burning, itching, pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, and anything that's not normal for you.

If you are sexually active at all - even if you're still a virgin then you need to start seeing a gynecologist every year especially if you're having problems.

BTW, Sammykinz13, it's normal to not have a period once in a while. If it's not normal next month then you may need to see a doctor and get started on birth control pills to control your period. The pill will keep you from getting pregnant (most of the time but it must be taken at the SAME TIME EVERYDAY!) but it also will help to get your period in a normal cycle. After you've been on the pill for a few months then you may be able to come off of it and do fine after that. Check with your local clinic, doctor, or health department if you don't get your period next month or if you start and it lasts a lot longer than normal.

Good luck to all of you. Take care and God Bless you.

there's no way u can b pregnant if u dont ovulate as u need an egg 2 get pregnant. u cant get pregnant if there's no sexual contact. there's a slight chance of pregnancy if u have got his penis near your vagina even if there was no penetration as he could rub sperm against u.

sasahesm peeing could be caused by a urine infection like cystitis. consult a doctor. it is easily treatable. you are v young so changes in your menstrual cycle are quite normal.

r u sure there was no sperm on his hands? if so there's no way u can b pregnant. but if u r not 100% sure then u need 2 do a test and/or see a doctor. stress about all of this could also be making u late.

Please ladies - You have to have sex with a man and he has to get quite a bit of sperm into your vagina to get pregnant, almost all of the time by sticking his penis in your vagina and ejaculating.

You can not get pregnant from giving oral sex or kissing afterwords, fingering yourself, masturbating in any other way, dry humping, french kissing, anal sex or giving him a hand job.

If you are this young, you can expect to have irregular periods and even skip one or two. Your period can also be affected by your health, sleep, travel, stress, diet and weight. It does not matter if your period has been regular for a while or not. It still happens.
