Hello,

i hope someone here can help me. I've had these symptons before and it usually goes away but for some reason it has taken a longer time to rid it self. I constantly have to pee and I mean constantly. I would feel like I have to pee right after I just went. Also, after peeing the small stream I get this uncomfortable pulsing sensation from my vagina. This just doesnt occur after i'm done peeing but also when i'm just sitting down. I went to an aerobics class last night and I couldn't finish through because of all the jumping and discomfort it caused.

My vagina constantly has this pulsing sensation and it is highly uncomfortable. While i'm peeing though there is not discomfort...But after there is major discomfort down there. Please help. I've read about people constantly needing to pee but havent read about any uncomfortable pulsing sensation down there.

What could it be?

Hi there. This to me sounds like a urinary tract infection. Go see your doctor. You should also drink lots of water and take cranberry tablets.

Always have sensation to pee and feel wet but I'm not
I have the same problem! went to the doctors and tested me for UTI...NEGATIVE... so she put me on anitbiotics which did nothing..started taking acidophilous (spelling) pills which are refrigerated and are the good bacteria found in yogurt at a high potency. It went away...not sure if by coincidence or by the pills but that was 2 months ago...now i have it back again and this time it kind of comes and goes. but seems to be progressing worse again. went to a different doctor and she perscribed me overactive bladder pills. have yet to try them but i hope they work! and that i won't have to be on them all the time! just for now but we will see...

sounds like a UTI.
go to your doctor they will give you antibiotics.
its normal about 80% of women visit their doctor
because of this.
drink lots of water and cranberry juice but that won't
help as much as going to your doctors.
at the end your still going to have to go either way .

UTI infection symptoms without the UTI infection.....
it's no surprise I'm commenting coz it's happening to me also. Two months ago it started as a UTI and since then the symptoms have persisted. The pain of the infection has passed but the constant urge to go wee is ALWAYS there.Strangely it almost feels like I'm aroused all the time. like my turned 'on' button is stuck 24/7...lol. It's annoying after so long tho.(and masturbation doesn't relieve the sensation)The doc's ran more tests and scans but all came back negative...which is a good thing, but still doesn't explain why i still have the symptoms. I drink copious amounts of water, and herbal teas. I've given up caffeine completely. no chocolate or acidic foods. I take cranberry daily and liver tonic tablets.I've recently started on herbal tabs for a naturopath too! I will try anything. Meditation helps a little... i've have this before but never for so long. not sure how it went away last time but wish it would go away again..!!
In the passed i took tablets for an 'overactive bladder' and they helped. I'm about to try those again to see if they help.

I've had alot of success since my last post in May. I started on tumeric tablets, commonly used for arthritis.Recommended to me by a friend suffering frequent uti's. Tumeric is a natural antinflammitory. Like taking nurofen. However, unlike nurofen there's no need to worry about taking it long term. Before I started on the tablets I was drinking tumeric milk.. which is an indian remedy for many different conditions, including uti's. (google tumeric and uti's - fascinating). So, combined with my once a day tumeric tablet, i take my 'bladder care' tablet and feel great! The pain and urgency and pulsing sensation stopped almost straight away. I'm still drinking a 'urinary tract' and liver detox tea made by a naturopath and it works as a diuretic. So, when I do go there's plenty of fliuds there. The tea contains antiflammitory properties aswell to help line the bladder and help with the pain. I enjoy herbal teas so it was a great option for me. One more thing... After fair reading and research into bladder conditions learning to stay calm is a big thing. When I do feel a bit piddly I have a affirmation I say to myself to try calm myself down. It's also remarkably helpful. Please try the tumeric everyone...or at least ask ur naturopath/health food store about it.

Sounds like a mild uti...annoying but not painful.
Nurofen is a quick fix but if you've got turmeric powder at home i really do recommend mixing it into some milk (preferably 'fatty' milk and the body absorbs the turmeric better when it's combined with fat)if you can't have milk mix it into a bit of oil.
There are lots of other common uti treatments available from the chemist. Ural sachets will help flush the system of any bugs and also help keep your fluids up so when you do go there's something there
It's been a day since you posted. I hope you've found relief of your symptoms
It's been months since my last post and I've had no problems since I started on the turmeric etc as mentioned in my last post.

stramge feeling when urinating.
i read so many of these reports from women who struggle with this feeling and yet have had checks and found no infection. no one believes me but my experience is that i can cure myself of this horrible symptom..........and it is horrible cos you can't get away from the sensation and it feels really wierd when the peeing comes to an end ( makes my jaw do wierd things)........please let me know if you find this works for you, but if i give myself an orgasm, or maybe two or three are needed, it goes away. true story. try it. especially after rough sex and maybe not having an orgasm or a good one after or during it. check it out. curious to see if anyone at all has the same experience. trust me, it works for me.

Stress cause?
I have the same problem. I always need to pee & have this weird swollen feeling. This started last Friday & I have had 2 negative tests for a urinary tract infection and don't have a specialist appointment for 2 months. I saw an acupuncturist a few days ago and she said that it is from stress/anxiety. She recommended putting a bottle of very hot water between my legs & another on my lower pelvic area. This is helping a lot. She said that because I am stressed my bladder is pulsating. I am also on needles from her & have cut out caffeine and am only drinking warm water and eating lots of vegetables and soup. I have recently seen a therapist as well and she said she was almost certain that this is an anxiety disorder. I hope reading this reply can help someone because I felt so depressed going to see three Western doctors who had no idea what was wrong with me. I was put on a round of antibiotics that did nothing & not a single doctor suggested anxiety as a cause. I am hoping that with acupuncture and speaking with a therapist this feeling will go away. I had read online on another post that a woman went on anti-depressants and the feeling was gone. Therefore, it's really not an infection. This feeling may just be caused by a mental health issue. That's what I am hoping anyways. Good luck to anyone dealing with this problem & I hope this posts helps someone.

i am curious as to why you don't reply to the suggestion i made in the post just before yours? surely the swollen feeling is a clue. honestly it does seem to be a strange manifestation of the equivalent of 'horniness' in men. except that it's unpleasant. well, apparently,it's not that pleasant for men in fact. that's why they harrass us a bit. to get relief. no one suggests they are stressed or have mental health issues. i suggest you are no more stressed than the next one of us. do try orgasm......honestly, it just feels like cystitis and it is so unpleasant, but it goes away after releasing the stressed sexual buildup. such a flipping relief. sometimes as i said above, it takes a couple of goes. normally i am post menopausal and woudl have to work for hours to get an orgasm, and eventually lose interest. this 'pseudo cystitis' makes it ten times quicker and the benefits are such a relief. no, doctors don't seem to be familiar with this. i don;t think i am a wierd exception. there are at least two of us on here, and i am really interested to discover, and then let others know, whether they have a similar experience. have you tried it at least? it's free!

From reading everyone's posts, I agree with the same urge to oee every minute even right after I go. But mine itches also.. Does anyone else have that problem? When I itch it down there, it almost feels good like I'm pleasuring myself but if I itch for too long then it starts to hurt and I'm pulsating down there for a long time and it becomes sore. I know itching it probably isn't helping at all, but sometimes I can't help it. I just started to get it today and I've had it before. I believe it's from having sex and then not going to the bathroom right afterwards.. Does anyone agree with that? So I go and buy monitstat, that yeast infection medicine and in a couple days it's completely gone. I hope that helps anyone who reads this and hasn't found something to cure the infection.
So going to the bathroom after sex is really important because if u stay wet down there for too long, it causes an infection that needs to b treated ASAP!

straight after peeing I need to go again
I am a teenager and right now I'm going through the exact same thing, except it's only been since I was sick last night,I have a virus atm which causes me to constantly vomit and it's ever since that this hot uncomfortable feeling has occurred,I've had it before so much and most the time have to spend the day in a cold bath which really eases it,I constantly drink water but that's just cause I like it,and this seems to have no effect on me. I've also tried cranberry juice which worked only for a day and I also have been to the doctors and was given some antibiotics that stopped for maybe a few weeks but it's always coming back,it's so uncomfortable! would love some help on how to treat it for good
