I heard somewhere that since the nuvaring
is so low a dosage of hormones that some
peoples bodies react in a way that tries
to counter the imbalance, and therefore
causes more moodswings and even
depression. Ive been on it for a while
now, and I have been experiencing similar
affects but I never connected the two
until recently. Is it just a
coincidence, or could there be something
there?

It is not because it is such a low dose,
it is because hormones themselves can
react badly in some women!(no matter what
the dose)
i cannot use any hormones at all, so I
have an ud, it ios a hormone free type of
birth control. Many docs are relucatant
to give them out to women, but planned
parenthood has been a huge leader in
getting the word of iud's out.
