Okay ladies, I had really bad cramps all throughout my abdomen. I'm 4 weeks pregnant. I went in for an emergency ultrasound because of the cramps and found out that I had a cyst on my left ovary that had ruptured. The pain has pretty much gone away except for this dull pain on my right ovary. In the ultrasound, they said my right ovary was normal. They couldn't see a sac but said it was normal at 4 weeks and that they can see my lining was thicker indicating pregnancy. That was yesterday. Today my doc called me and told me that she would like me to get some blood work done to check on my hormone levels to make sure it isn't ectopic. The ultrasound didn't detect anything ectopic, so why am I going to get this blood work done? How severe should the pain be because mine is very dull but noticable. Please help me!! :(
