Q: Help!-heart Noise?!?

If I inhale deeply and press relatively hard against the spot
where the 5th or 6th rib meets the breastbone after exercise,
i can actually hear a loud swooshing noise coming from the area that's
in time with my heartbeat. As you might expect i'm really worrying over this; i've suffered from anxiety for a long time especially related to worrying about my heart. I'm sure you shouldn't be able to
hear your own heartbeat without putting your ear against your chest right?

Please, can anyone tell me what this might be?
One site suggested it might be caused by a hole in the heart which had me worried, and another suggested inhaling deeply simply amplified the heart sounds...Anyone ever had anything like this?
I don't think it's a heart murmur because i've had several physical check ups an ecg/ekg and a chest x-ray in the past 18 months related to my anxiety which all proved normal...Any idea???
