You need to go to a clinic, or a doc that provides abortions, many regular obgyn docs do not offer abortions.


Abortion is done by suction. Most women are sedated or given anesthesia, then the cervix is dilated to the size of a ball point pen. A suction tube the size of a straw is inserted for 2-3 minutes, and the pregnnacy is aborted.

Not all docs feel comfortable talking about abortion to their patients..

Before I got into nursing, I needed an abortion. My regualr family doc was not comfortable with talking about abortion, so I had to talk to others..

Now I see an aboriton friendly doctor.
