Hey there! I'm not due until march, but I would love to chat with you february people! Wow greeneyes....Less time now!!!!

So, are any of you just aching to start on the nursery? I can't wait to find out the sex so I can begin creating a "sandcastle" room for a little girl or a "baseball stadium" for a little boy. It's going to be sooooo much fun!

Last week, I told my dh how much I enjoy waking up and saying hi to the baby in my belly. He has been so scared, that he told me it's too early for that. So the other day, my heart just melted. He woke up and put his hand on my belly and said goodmorning to the baby! Awwwwwww!

Ok- I spent about $200 at motherhood (store) yesterday! I went there to start picking up some clothes so I don't have to do it all at once. I ended up walking out with 5 new bras and like 10 shirts! It's funny, my bbs only began hurting this past week- and ouch they hurt badly! My bras were not holding them tight enough apparently, cause the sales lady told me to try on some support bras! Not because I was falling out, but because every time I bent over, I would have to hold the puppies so they didn't hurt as bad! Let me just say....I love them! I got a sports bra for my walks and exercises...A sleeping bra...3 nursing, padded, hold on tight type bras! My bbs feel sooo much better! I recommend going to maternity store for that kind of support! Lol

now- I need help from all of you. My mother in law has now rudely stated that she thinks I am having a miscarriage. Urggggg- she is always way out of line. So here are my symptoms: I have had af type cramps for the past two weeks. They are off and on throughout the day- never painful enough to make me want to take meds (not that I would anyway). I think some of these cramps are also because I am constipated. I have had no bleeding or spotting, not even during implantation. I used to get painful twinges (sharp fast bursts of pain), but haven't had that in a while. Bit**-in-law said I shouldn't have any cramping at all. Someone please put my mind to ease, or let me know so I can prepare for the worst. I am trying to stay positive! :) thanks!

Lisa I need to get some of those bras too! My god I alwaaaays have to hold my bbs when I walk up/down the stairs, etc! Im going to make a trip
and get some good support!

And as for your other question... I have mild pains in my lower stomach like you do - not big enough pains though to take medicine. My doc said it was completly normal! To me, the feeling feels like a "stretching" feeling to me in my lower stomach. Its most likely just because our uterus' are swollen and getting prepared for a growing baby!

Notpatient...Sounds like your mil is a real piece of work! Did you tell your husband what she said? Keep far away from her.
Is she a doctor who is able to make a diagnosis without a physical exam? Im guessing no.
If it makes you feel any better I am having "twinges" too. Nothing painful, just out of the ordinary feelings. Since I have spent the last 28 years of my life not bing pregnant, I expect that we should feel different sensations and pains now that we are pregs.
Im quite sure that its normal...All the info on miscarriage I have read says that cramping (on one side) is usually accomponied with bleeding or shoulder pain.
Tell her to get a life.

She's not a doc. And she is very evil. Dh knows...Actually she's done far worse to me in the past, so I am used to it. Just got me thinking and needed to step back and relax. Dh and I try hard to stay away from her, and for the most part we do well! She is one of those people that had 4 kids and now she's an expert on everyone's pregnancy. She also told me about 9 years ago that I probably had a tumor because my periods shouldn't be that painful- because she never got cramps! There are many words to describe my mil and I don't think they're appropriate for this site!! Lol

anyway- I recommend the "sleep bra's" for the walking around the house in your t-shirt or pajama's time! I can't wear bra's all day long (i have been all bbs since I was 17) they get very uncomfortable...But the sleep bra is great! Also, I like the maternity sports bras- comfy! But- try on the bra's before you take them home. They make maternity bra's for nursing and sometimes they have wierd line patterns that show through your clothes!

the Cramps..
When I was 14 wks I made my dh get out of bed in the middle of the night bc I was freaking out bc of the pain/cramping feeling. Come to find out at the er it was just really bad gas and constipation was to blame.. But I completely understand what u mean. Oh lol it was worth it bc they had to do an u/s bc its standard for any cramping pain. I got to see my lil bean for the 1st time.. So next time u get worried, dont let urself suffer from the emotions go to the er. I dont regret looking stupid. U can never be to careful. Its not your body anymore, just remember that.
