Dear Dr

A few years ago i was told i have osteoarthritis, i am in pain most days and get told just to take paracetomol and i will be ok, ive been referred to an orthopedic surgeon who ive seen but to me he didnt seem interested he done some xrays on me and said there was nothing found, but the arthritis was found on an MRI scan and not XRAYS! , no one seems to be listening to me, i get pain in the lower back which affects my hip and also my right knee cap the pain is strong to severe on most days,

every single morning im waking up feel severly sick, i cannot eat or drink for at least 4 - 5 hours because thats when my stomach settles down.

sometimes my knee gives out and i will fall to the ground its embarassing for me and upsets me.

If an orthopedist tells you that you don’t have osteoarthritis that means that YOU DON’T HAVE OSTEOARTHRITIS!!! You can ask for a second opinion from another orthopedist or rheumatologist. Morning sickness and stomach problems have no connection with osteoarthritis. Experiencing the knee giving out and falling on the ground is hard to explain as an osteoarthriti condition that can’t be seen on an X-ray image. You can request standard blood analyses including sedimentation, CRP and rheumatic-factor. If everything is OK, then you are probably suffering from anxiety disorder.
