High blood pressure could be caused by many variables. What type of activity that you may have done through out the day, stress weather in the Dr. Office or in your life in general, medication that you may have taken, what you may have eaten. The key to montering your blood pressure at this moment would be to have it checked at least once or twice a week make record of what time of the day it is, what the blood pressure is and if high think of what you have done in the day (diet, excersice, stress level ect...) that may have caused it to be high. If high blood pressure consists then take your records in to the doc. And he/she may be able to determine weather or not you need to be placed on medications to lower your blood pressure or if you might just need to change your life style.
