Q: Burning After Sex

Ive been sleeping with my current boyfriend for about four months now. About two months ago I started to notice that about midway thru having intercourse, I would begin to have a burning sensation and would have to stop because I would have to pee so bad! While peeing it would burn also, but only immediately after having sex, and I still feel somekind of burning (down there) for about 20 mins after sex. I never feel this at any other time. I could pee all day long and not feel any burning, but after sex it will slightly burn. Im not feeling any cramps or lower abdomen pains either.

This has continued to happen since then but it doesn't seem to be as noticable like it was at first. I still feel the burning, but not as bad. I've never been tested for anything, but im looking into it.

I was just curious if anyone else has ever had these type of symptoms?

Hi..
There may be variety of reasons for this sensation you are getting. So first of all consider the following questions:
1. Are you using any lubricant nowadays which you didn't use before?
2. Is the vagina properly moist before the actual intercourse?
3. Any new type of condom being used?
Also... Get a urine r/e test done both on you and your boyfriend to rule out presence of development of a urinary tract infection.

Take care.

Yes, if im not "naturally" lubricated, we use a store bought lubricant, and no, condoms aren't used.

Im pretty sure its not an uti, i've had one before and the pain was quite different and way more unpleasant!

Could also be HPV- human papiloma virus
I have had the exact same symptoms and was diagnosed with HPV- which is very common in women. So get tested for that as well...
