Approximately two weeks ago I had a second period from going off of my birth control (i was using ortho evra), and now i'm late this month. I have had sex, but we used the withdrawal method. So far I have no pregnancy symptoms. I plan to get a pregnancy test thursday just in case, but I was wondering if anyone thinks that the second period I had might be what my body considers to be this month's period, because it was so close to the next original period.

How long were you on birth control? Going off hormonal birth control can mess with your system, causing your cycle to go way off track.

A pregnancy test wouldn't be a bad idea, since the withdrawal method isn't accurate.

I was on it since february, and up until I stopped using it I had used it as directed (i changed the patch weekly and then took the fourth week as a period).

I agree with ingi, your body is confused from you coming off the birth control.

But definately get the pregnacy test cuz the withdrawl method doesn't work, guys leak a bit of cum before they actually ejaculate so theres no guarantee its safe.

I'm hoping it's just the birth control, and i've been trying to get a free moment to get a test but haven't had the chance yet. Hopefully by tonight/tomorrow i'll be able to get one. Another question.. If it was the birth control, will my period return in july?
