Hi,
i'm a redhead who burns fairly easily, but i've only blistered twice before. The first time I was a lobster all over and my face blistered. The second time I was burnt bad almost everywhere (legs weren't too bad) and my shoulders blistered.
On saturday I burnt only two small patches on each shoulder - I was in and out of the sun for an hour max with no sunscreen. However, the right shoulder, which has a dime sized scar on it, blistered by the next day (the scar and a patch around it all blistered) and looks strange compared to my normal burns - it's very red but kind of spidery, not just a smooth patch of red.
I've been very careful ever since my first blistered burn, which was 7-8 years ago, because i'm well aware of the dangers of skin cancer. It really concerns me that my shoulder(s) can all of the sudden blister so easily, with no burn anywhere else.
Should I get it checked? Or just leave it and be 10 times more careful from here on out?
Thanks
