Howdy!

Since I drive a heck of a lot, this could be a serious problem. Several times on longer trips, I feel briefly faint. Seems my jaw gets very tight and my grip on the wheel tightens. I don't know if that's caused by the anxiety of my very brief episodes, or it's another symptom. I really need to stress the fact it only happens while driving. The higher the speed, the worse it is. Busy, congested city traffic cause no problems for me.

I guess i'm thinking it's got some sort of visual trigger, as i'd mentioned the higher the speed, the worse it gets. I should also mention I have meniere's disease, which seems to be behaving itself for the last several years, save for some mild tinnitus.

I do keep my eyes moving, but I must admit, when this happens, I tend to freeze up a bit, and then force myself to turn my eyes and head. So i'm tentatively ruling out any road hypnosis.

Any thoughts on this?

Do you have any blood sugar problems? If not, why did you post here? Not to sound rude, but I don't want you to be in the wrong place.
