I was just curious... Ive posted a few times on this forum and was wondering if someone can help me out

i was diagnoised with high risk hpv about last novemeber. While they caught it and ive had a few paps since all showing the same results, they said a coloscopy isnt needed yet because on my last pap the virus wasn't as prevelant... Whatever that means. Anyway, my last pap was in march and im suppose to get another one in the fall. My problem is ive been having unusal pain. What feels like cramping. And sometimes shooting pain actually up and around my vagina, and some throbbing in my back. Im begining to wonder if this can be associated with the hpv maybe it has spread or become precancerous. I also have some spotting.

Some backround info, this isnt from sex and im not pregnant or all the pill. If anyone has had anything else like this please any advice would be helpful. Im thinking about pushing up my appointment for the summer. Please let me know im starting to freak out thinking it may have spread and I wont catch it in time.
Thanks

And tell me something what what have been your pap results? Have they being negative? And how do you know the hpv that you have is high risk?

Something doesn't make sense to me... High risk hpv it is common to those suffering to have lots of problems with cervical dysplasia. In your case if your doctor has not ordered a colposcopy means that your pap smear has been negative at least that what I would assume. Cause if your pap smear has come up with at least mild dysplasia a colposcopy is mandatory hun. If I were you I would find out more about those results. Having pap smears repeated every six months is ordered when you have a diagnosis of at least mild dysplasia. So what doesn't make sense to me is how come you have not had a colposcopy. What that of "virus isn't prevelant" means?

As for your pain I don't think it is related to dysplasia. I have cin I dysplasia and it is completetly painless.

I guess I should have been clearer, because I am uninsured, I had to wait till I had 3 abnormal paps before I can be given a coloscopy otherwise I would have to pay and I cant afford it. Im now approaching my 4th. All 3 of my paps have come back abnormal and after the first they tested me for hpv and from what the doctor told me I have high risk. By the last pap it wasnt I guess as bad as the previous ones and she said we will do one more before I get the coloscopy. I also have mild dysplasia. She belives im in transiton of fighting the virus off.. Again whatever that means. I may not be getting my words out correctly or may have misunderstood my doctor. Im worried because of the weird symptoms that have been present lately.
Up until now other then the tests I have had no problem with this stuff and I just wanted to know if it may be a sign that its getting worst instead of better.

Well your Dr. wouldn't try to kill you...I had 3 abnormal paps then I had 3 colposcopies with biopsies and I have progressed to moderate dysplasia and they are now performing the LEEP procedure to burn the infected areas. My doctor told me that 90% of the time your body will fight it off, which is probably why your doc is making you wait. It takes a while for the it to move from precancerous to cancerous. I was told to not freak out and to stay as relaxed and stress free as possible...hope this helps. Let me know
