Heyy
ive been on aviane (the generic brand of aleese) for over a year now and recently my pharmacy gave me lutera, I guess its suppose to be another generic brand of aleese. Should everything be the same? Is the dosage the same? Should I be worried? Help!

Thanks :)

Yes the dose is the same! It is just a different name =)

some women notice differnces between different brands of generics, and some women do not...

But since you already are on a generic, and did well, there is no reason to think you will not do well..We won't get ahead of ourselves before you try it =)

Aleese vs. Lutera - (Weight gain!)
I was on Aleese for almost 9 years. About 8 months ago my pharmacy switched to Lutera and I have put on 10 lbs!! At first I was questioned if I changed my dietary or exercise habits, which I have not, and therefore have no other reasonable explanation for the weight gain, except that it started to occur recently after switching Generic names. Anyone else have this issue?

I was on Alesse too for one year and for some odd reason the pharmacies aren't carrying it in right now. Well, I'm trying Lutera. I went from 107 lbs at the beginning of last week to 111 this week. My eating habits have not changed, I've actually started drinking nothing but water. I'm quitting it.
