Anthony Colpo's book
I agree with him that we are not designed to eat grains in any form. I disagree with him that we need animal flesh/fluids in our diet; however we do need fat...from the fatty acids in fruits and we also need sun dried nuts and seeds which provide fat of a high biological value. He's right about a whole foods diet and elimination of processed anything. He knows nothing of professionally supervised fasting, which is the superior way to detoxify, heal and repair cellular tissue. He's right about exercise which should be appropriate to the individual's condition. He's wrong in that animal flesh consumption including dairy products absolutely do contribute to arterial blockages and CHD but there are many other contributing factors as well. I am on about a 90 to 95 per cent plant based diet. I eat a bit of chicken weekly. I jog/bike 40 miles per month and at close to 60, there's nothing I can't do that I have always been able to do. I ride my motorcycle almost daily. Anyway, disease is multifactorial, not just one thing.
