Q: Help! Can Tmj Cause Nose/sinus Pain?

I have been getting really bad jaw pains every time I have a migraine for years, and now I have started getting earaches, stuffy ear and pain on the actual ear not inside it, plus pains at the back of my head and also top of my back.

I have been having quite bad pain around the sinus area and when I bite down on my left side, it hurts my sinus area, could this be a tmj problem and has anyone else ever had it?? I am going to the doctors today but have the feeling I am going to get fobbed off!

Yes, very much so. Tmj also mimics migraines sad to say. You should see a tmj specialist (dentist). Do all the research you can regarding tmj. It is overlooked frequently by medical people and even many tmj "specialists" are not as educated as they could be. Check out the support groups on-line and read the current and past postings for some great information.

I pray you will get the help you need.
God bless...
