 I have pain / irritation within my penis, on the underside of the glans area. It has been bothering me constantly for about 5 months now. All tests for std's have come back negative, and I have been prescribed several antibiotics to include erythromicin for 5 days, and later doxycyc. And ofloxacin at the same time for two straight weeks. After seeing a urologist, I was given nitrofurantn for a possible urinary tract infection. X-rays were taken in search of kidney stones, and later a scope went in, but the urologist found nothing that looked wrong in the urinary tract or bladder. I was later given flucanazol in case my problem was coming from a yeast infection, but that didn't help either.
Besides the pain, I have chills constantly, but no fever. I always feel like I have the chills. I know that both the chills and the pain in the penis increase for several days after having sex. It does not hurt to urinate or ejaculate, but the act of having an erection and having sex seems to tramatise or irritate whatever is wrong down there. During this time, I have seen my family physician, a urologist, and an infectious disease doctor. None of them has been able to figure out what may be wrong with me.
