Hi everyone. I was recently diagnosed with pcos. My husband and I got married in october 2005. We really wanted to start ttc but I wasn't getting my period. I went to the doctor and he put me on provera to induce my period.> 1 tablet for 10 days. I got my period on june 12. It lasted for 5 days, and then I started taking clomid on days 5-9. My question is I have been using the clearblue fertility monitor, is it going to give me accurate results on when i'm ovulating? So far I have tested from day 6 and today is the 11th and I have gotten high fertility readings each day. Also what is the chance of having twins? My husband and I would love to have twins. Baby dust to all. God bless!

Hey,
i think that clomid does affect the monitors readings. A friend of mine was in the same boat and she called the helpline. If I were you i'd call them and see what they say. I've called them before for help and they're great. Good luck!! :d

Hello
Rachel you are right, clomid does affect the readings the fertility monitor gives you. In fact, it's written right on the box and in the booklet that if you have pcos or are on clomid, the clearplan fertility monitor will not give you accurate readings.
I have just begun using the fertility monitor this month, after I had a m/c in april. I have to say, I really like it. It take the whole "guessing game" out of ttc!
